The symposium has a limited number of oral presentations that will be selected from the submitted abstracts.

Some abstracts are better suited for poster presentation, others for oral presentation. Authors may indicate a preference for poster presentation on the front page of the abstract; otherwise, all abstracts will be considered for both oral and poster sessions.

All abstracts will be included in the conference booklet (on USB support).

Abstract Format (for full instructions, click on the abstract template below)

  • NO email addresses, phone numbers, hyperlinks, keyword lists, comments, text or image boxes.
  • Paragraph breaks between Title, Author & Institute, abstract body, funding and references
  • Maximum 2 pages: one text page (500 words or less, Arial, 11 point font) and one page of figures and tables.
  • Arial, 11 point, black font
  • Single spacing, justified

Abstract content and editing are the responsibility of the submitting author. Abstracts will be published as received. Please review your submitted abstract to ensure accuracy.

All posters will be considered for the Best Poster Award, partly sponsored by Lab on a Chip.

The Best Poster Prize will consist of:

  • a financial Award of CHF 500.-
  • an electronic subscription to both Lab on a Chip and Integrative Biology journals
  • the winner will be featured on the Lab on a Chip blog after the symposium.

Please be available to present your poster during poster inspection sessions.

The best poster award will be attributed at the end of the Symposium. The presence of the winner is mandatory to receive the prize.

Poster Size : A0 (841 mm x 1189 mm) vertical

We will supply the boards including fixing materials. Please note that it will not be possible to print your poster at the venue.
